December Newsletter

As 2022 hurtles to a close, we want to thank you all for a great school year so far and let you know what's happening for the next couple of weeks. We appreciate all of our members in the big and small ways you've shown up to help make every child's potential a reality. For joining the PTA, thank you. If you bought spirit wear or pizza, thank you. If you volunteered to help serve lunch to the staff, chalk the school sidewalk, work the book fair, read to a class, donate snacks, help out with the holiday shop, or anything else, thank you. And if you've come to a meeting, thank you. We need you, and we appreciate you.

Here's what you can look forward to for the rest of 2022:

  • December 12: PTA Meeting - 4:15 in the school media center or online (details below)

  • December 12-16: Polar Pals Holiday Shop - Kids can shop each morning before school for holiday gifts for friends and family (and let's be honest, probably themselves)

  • Now through December 16: Holiday Goodie Bags - Donate items for staff goodie bags (details below)

Our December meeting will be held on Monday, December 12 right after school at 4:15. Pick up your kiddo(s), park, and come on in, or hop on the Zoom. This will be a very quick meeting to elect our new treasurer, Jessica Bunting, and to say, "Happy holidays," before the winter break. It shouldn't last more than 15 minutes. We hope to see you there! (Pssst - If you come in person, there's candy.) Check our Facebook group or the email newsletter for the Zoom link.

We're coming into the home stretch of 2022, and the PTA would LOVE to send our teachers and staff home for the winter break with a bag full of goodies. Would you consider donating some items to the bags? You can sign up for what you want to give on the form below and bring it to the school before December 16. If you'd rather donate cash for us to purchase items on your behalf, just email Beth!
