Papa John's Spirit Night |
 The PTA uses the money from restaurant spirit nights to support our students and staff. By doing spirit nights with Papa John's, we also earn free pizzas that we can use to feed our teachers during Teacher Appreciation Week. We are always looking for ways to stretch our dollars and give more back to our Aversboro community. All day on Wednesday, February 21, your Papa John's orders will help us do just that. The code RSA007 is good at most local Papa John's locations, but not all. Our "home" store is the one on Vandora Springs Rd., just off Hwy. 70, but feel free to tell all your Raleigh-area friends to order pizza that day with our code! |
Amazon Donation |
 A couple of months ago, Amazon reached out to ask if we would like to receive donations. These are items that they cannot sell, but that are still suitable to use. On Friday, we got a moving truck FULL of Lays assorted chips – 19,600 single-serving bags of chips! We distributed a few boxes to each classroom, saved some for Girls on the Run, treated our office staff to a savory snack, and thanked our custodial staff for their help unloading the truck with several boxes. The photo you see here is the LEFTOVERS! Our teachers will be able to replenish their supplies for several more weeks from this mountain of snacks. |
