Happy New Year!!
I hope you all had a lovely, restful, joyous winter break! Welcome back to real life (I'm feeling it BIG time today). We have some fun things going on this month! Here's what's coming up:
January 10-12: Artist in Residence - Local artist, Shannon Newby, will be working with our 5th grade students to learn about coral reefs and make a cool art project out of recycled materials. See below for a list of items we'd love to see donated!
January 23: Monthly Meeting - We will meet at 4:30 in the school media center (a Zoom option will also be available). The YMCA staff will provide free childcare for school-aged children during the meeting, and afterward, the school is hosting a family night with student-led conferences.

Tissue paper (any color)
Feather boas (any color)

Cardboard tubes from toilet paper, paper towels, or wrapping paper (please remove all paper from the tubes)
